Oh..!, The Comfort of Good Friends, Good Food and A Warm Cozy Bed..!

Yes every time we plan a holiday ,we never forget to make a list of all we can do, we browse thru hotel listings and mark our hospitality stay.....forts and palaces, shrines and monasteries, the beach and the mountains.....

Flights and buzzing bus stands, a thought on whether we should do it by train to see the green countryside..Maps and landmarks, sightseeing and adventure trails, an event which could not be missed..even the spiritual trend begins with Yoga Gurus and Buddhist teachings.

We find ourselves in the middle of a shopping spree which outgrows our pocket, share dairy notes with fellow travelers over a cup of hot 'chai', return home and get back to the usual routine and work..!

As the days pass by on the calendar, there are some memories which although not planned on your schedule still linger and make it as a holiday of a lifetime. The good friends we picked up on the trail, the sharing of  conversation n food and above all the heart touching care n concern of your hosts and warm hospitality. Yes, even the warm quilts and the evening stars,  the weather your journey guide and a good book which tells you all..!

Enjoy your Trip with Warm Hospitality in Dharamsala Hotels..!

Tradition in a Tea Cup..Tibetan Tea..!

The ancient Tibetan Tea House culture has found its way through the long dreary winter journeys on the ancient Himalayan Silk Route. The much acquired flavor of traditional 'butter tea' which was a high calorie energizer for the mountain folks, still is very much a top favorite in Tibetan homes and Monasteries.

However, as the days passed by, the ancient knowledge of Tibetan herbs n medicine soon became a tea blend trend for the present day tea culture from Tibet. These teas can be drunk at anytime of the day for creating better toning of the skin and a digestive balance of the body.

Indian herbal tea leaves freshly hand picked in the mountain valleys of  Dharamsala and Palampur, are fragnant with the British afternoon sessions where people gathered for conversation. The famous Kangra tea today has many Tibetan tea brews for you to discover in Dharamsala India..
